The way the word righteousness is written in the Chinese language is a combination of two words. The top word is lamb, and the bottom word is me. It means the lamb is on top of me covering my sins.
John the Baptist called Jesus “the Lamb of God” who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29). Sin has separated us from God. But because of His love for us, God made His Son Jesus “who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Cor. 5:21).
