When Pharaoh had ordered the murder of all baby boys born to the Jewish people, Moses’ mother was in a desperate situation. So she hid Moses and when he was 3 months old, she put him a a watertight basket and placed the basket in the Nile River. Luckly, Moses was rescued by a princess in Pharaoh’s palace, and eventually, he was able to deliver his people out of slavery.
Let us pray for those facing desperate and lonely time. Pray for the poor and defenseless children everywhere. Share the love of Christ by meeting their needs as we are able. (Tim Gustafson)[:]
