[:en]WORK TOGETHER

“We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).  When Paul used the word “God works” he used it in the context of suffering.  He wanted the Romans to know that God did not cause their suffering, but He would cause all their circumstances to cooperate with His divine plan  – for their ultimate good.  The “good” that Paul referred to was not the temporal blessings of health,  wealth, admiration or success but being “conformed to the image of God’s Son” (Rom. 8:29)

Let us wait patiently and confidently knowing that all our sufferings, trials distresses, and vils can work together for His glory and for our spiritual growth.  – (Marvin Williams)
