When the Amalekites attacked the Israelites, Moses went to the top of the hill. When Moses raised his hands, the Israelites would win the battle, and when he lowered them, the Amalekites would win. There are two people who held up Moses arms when Moses got tired. And they were: Aaron and Hur. Hur was not known, but he played a crucial role in Israel’s history that led to its triumph.
Supporters and those who encourage leaders play a key role but are often overlooked. But the Lord will never overlook quiet and faithful witness who serve Him in other ways. Any services you rendered for the Lord are always seen by God. God is using you, even if your task seems insignificant. And may we notice and thank any unseen heoes who help us. – (Amy Boucher Pye)[:]
