[:en]NOT WHAT IT SEEMS

The king of Aram told his men to find out where Elisha was because the king wanted to capture him.  When he knew Elisha was in Dothan, the king sent horses and chariots and a strong force there.   They surrounded the city at night.  When the servant of Elisha got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city.  The servant was frightened but prophet Elisha said:  “Do not be afraid.  Those who are with us are more than those who are with them” (2 Kings 6: 15-16).  When Elisha prayed, the servant was able to see the multitudes ofsupernatural forces that were in place to protect them.

When you are in a hopeless situations, when you feel overwhelmed and outnumbered, remember that God is by your side.  He can “command his angels …. to guard you in all your ways (Ps. 91:11)[:]
