Jesus and His disciples needed financial support as they traveled from one town and village to another, preaching the gospel (Luke 8:1-3),. A group of women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases helped to support them by their own mean. One was May Magdalene, who had been freed from the presence of seven demons. Another was Joanna, the wife of an official in Herod’s court. They were helping Jesus and His disciples by giving their financial resources.
As we look what Jesus has done for us, we should also ask God how He wants us to do for Him and others. – (Anne Cetas)[:]
