[:en]Thoughts from Psalms 14[:]

[:en]A fool is someone who does not believe in God.  He ignores the evidence that God exists.  He does wicked things by relying on himself, denying God’s truth.

“There is no one who does good, not even one” (v. 3).  All of us is imperfect and fall short of His glory.  We are guilty before God and need his forgiveness.  We must turn to Christ to save us.

David contrasted the evil doers against the righteous.  Evil doers devour the people and does not call on the Lord.  They are overwhelmed with dread.  But God is present with the righteous.  Evil doers frustrates the plans of the poor, but the Lord is their refuge.  The Lord will restore the fortunes of His people and Israel will rejoice and be glad.[:]
