[:en]Thoughts from Psalms 16[:]

[:en]When David took refuge in God, he felt safe.  He was confident that his portion, his cup and his lot are all secured.  God had given him a delightful inheritance with boundary lines fallen in pleasant places.  The Lord was his counselor, instructor and protector.  He was never shaken.  His heart was glad and his tongue rejoiced because God had made known to him the path of life filled with joy.  He had promised him His presence with eternal pleasure.

This Psalm is sometimes called the Messianic Psalm because it is quoted idn the New Testament as referring to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Compare vs. 8-11 against Acts 2:25-28)

As beleivers, we are assured that God will not forget us when we die.  He will bring us to life again to live with him forever.[:]
