[:en]Thoughts from Psalms 24[:]

[:en]The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for He founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters” (vs. 1-2)

When we realize that the earth and everything in it belong to the Lord, that means we are only stewards and caretakers, not owners.  There is nothing to brag about because whatever we possess belongs to the Lord.  Since the earth is Lord’s, it does not belong to the Devil either.  Satan may have a certain amount of authority but Jesus remains as victor because He is on the throne of heaven.

Nobody can meet God’s qualification to live in His holy place.  Only he who has clean hands, a pure heart, not an idolater nor one who swears falsely can ascend the hill of the Lord and stand in His holy place.  Those who seek Him will receive blessings from the Lord and vindication from God his Savior. (vs. 3-6)

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, He rode on a donkey in humility and tears but when He comes again, it will be in power and great glory.  So open your gates and lift up your door to let the King of glory enter.  Who is the King of glory?  He is the strong and Almighty Lord. (vs. 7-10)[:]
