[:en]THE FIRST CHOICE
Abraham and his nephew Lot had so many flocks, herds and tents that the land could not accommodate them. To avoid conflict, Abraham suggested to part their ways. According to traditions, Abraham should be the one to make the first choice since he was older in rank , but he relinquished his right to Lot. His nephew took the fertile Jordan Valley leaving Abraham with the less desirable land. Instead of insisting on his rights, Abraham trusted his future to God and God blessed him.
As we face choices of many kinds, let us trust our Father to guide us in His way. God will always give His best to those who leave the choice with Him. – (David Mccasland)[:]
