There are two unpredictable times in our life. And those are: – the time of our birth and the time of our death. Many heroes of our faith experienced God’s faithfulness when they died. Jacob announced that would soon be “gathered to (his) people: (Gen. 49:29-33). Joseph also announce his impending death: “I am about to die. But God will surely come to you aid” (Gen. 50:24)
Let us prepare our hearts to face death with peace and confidence. As children of God, we have the assurance of God’s promise that He will prepare a place for us in the heavenly home. – (Amy Boucher Pye)[:]
