[:en]ALWAYS LISTENING
Nehemiah was a servant to King Artaxerxes of Persia, who was visibly sad in the king’s presence. When the king asked him why, he confessed that it was because Jerusalem, the conquered city of his ancestors had laid in ruins. When the king asked what he wants, he prayed to the Lord. His prayer lasted only a moment, but God heard it. King Artaxwexes granted his requst to rebuild the city.
God cares enough to listen to all of our prayers – from the shortest to the longest. He is big enough to hear the smallest voice. – (James Banks)[:]
