Dawson Trotman was a dynamic Chrstian leader of the mid-twentieth century and founder of The Navigators. He emphasized the importance of the Bible in the life of every Christian. He ended each day with a practice called “His Word the Last Word”. Before going to sleep, he prayed about its place and influence in his life. He wanted the last words he thought about each day was to be God’s Words.
Whether we are in great difficulty or enjoying a time of peace, let us make God’s Word the Last Word”. Before going to bed, read a Bible passage, meditate on it and keep it by heart. It can ease oour minds with the rest and comfort that God gives.[:]
