[:en]The Psalmist was asking theses things from God for the people of Israel:
- To be gracious to them and make His face shine upon them (v. 1)
- To rule the people justly and guide the nations of the earth (v. 4)
- To bless them with yield of harvest in their land (v. 6)
In return, the Psalmist will do these things for the Lord:
- To make His ways known to the earth and His salvation among all nations (v. 2)
- To praise the Lord with all the people (v. 3, 5)
- To be glad and sing for joy with all the nations (v. 4)
Things to Ponder:
- Are you proclaiming the good news to the people?
- Do you praise God for His justice and guidance?
- Have you thanked Him for the blessings you received from Him? Are you a blessing to others?
