[:en]Thoughts from Psalms 90[:]

[:en]Moses described who God is:

  1. God is our dwelling place (v. 1a)
  2. God is faithful throughout all generations (v. 1b)
  3. God is eternal; (v. 2)

Moses described who we are:

  1. We return to dust (v. 3)
  2. Our lives are short (vs. 4-6)
  3. We have secret sins and iniquites (vs. 8-9(
  4. Our life span is but trouble and sorrows (v. 10)
  5. We face death (v. 10)

What we must do:

  1.  Live a day at a time  – know how to number our days
  2. To gain a heart of wisdom
  3. Ask God to establish the work of our hands

“The length of our days is seventy years – or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away” (v. 10)

“Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom”

In spite of the burdens of life and the brevity of life, life is worth living when we trust in the Lord.[:]
