When Jesus was with the disciple during the Last Supper, He “got up from the meal,… poured waster into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet” (John 13:4-5) Later, He explained to His disciples why He had done this. He said: “No servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him” (John 13:16) He also said, “I am among you as one who serves”: (Luke 22:27)
Jesus an amazing exmpale for us to follow. He did not come to be served, but to serve (Mark 10:45)(. He showed us what it means to be a leader and a servant. Let us be humble by serving one another. -(Dave Branon)[:]
