[:en]TETH (vs. 65-72)
While the arrogant have smeared the Psalmist with lies, he still kept God’s precepts with all his heart because he delighted in His law.
Sometimes affliction can make us learn His decrees and obey His Word. God’s Word can teach us knowledge and good judgment. For “the law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold (v. 72)
YODH (vs. 73-80)
When God make and form us, He also gives us a how to do it manual to make life work successfully. He gives us an instruction manual teaching us on how to use our body and mind and make the right choices and decisions. Let us start reading His instruction book before getting into trouble and hurting ourselves and others. Let us learn His commands, put our hope in His Word, meditate on His precepts, understand His statutes and obey His decrees.
KAPH (vs. 81-88)
The Psalmist was facing persecution without cause. The arrogant dig pitfalls for him. They persecute him without cause. And they almost wiped him out from the earth. But he never forsook God’s precepts. He obeyed God’s statutes and turned to God’s Word as the source of hope (v. 81) because he knew all commandments are trustworthy (v. 86)
The Word of God will help you win over your enemies (vs. 84-87). When you are down and your soul is fainting, the Word will give you comfort and hope. So if you are having a rough day, when everything seems to go wrong and the situation is unbearable, turn to God. He is faithful and true. He will give you the reviving power of the Holy Spirit you need.[:]
