[:en]Thoughts from Psalms 134[:]

[:en]The Psalmist was telling the priest in the temple to give thanks as they served God and the people at night.  Paul and Silas was in the Philippian prison, but they were able to lift their hearts in praise to God. (Acts 16).  They knew that God was awake so they praised Him and God sent deliverance to them.

God never slumbers or sleeps.  He is always working. He also wants us to serve Him either on the day shift or on the night shift.  We can get some blessings during night season.

Have you ever give thanks  to the nurses, doctors, firemen, policemen, pilots, airport personnels who work night shift while we are sleeping?  While we are asleep, they are serving.

Working in night shift may be a lonely ministry but it is an important ministry.  Jesus, our High Priest is interceeding for us day and night.  But He never grows weary or impatient.  Do you appreciate and thank Him for His faithful ministry?  Are you willing to be like Him and serve others even on the night shift?[:]
