[:en]The Psalmist praised the Lord all his life.  He sang praises to God as long as he lives.

Reasons why we have to praise the Lord:

1. He is our help and hope (v. 3)
2. He is the creator of everything (v. 6a)
3. He remains faithful forever (v. 6b)
4. He upholds the cause of the oppressed  (v. 7a)
5. He provides food for the hungry (v. 7b)
6. He redeems and set us free (v. 7c)
7. He is the healer (v. 8a)
8. He defends the weak (v. 8b)
9. He loves the righteous (v. 8c)
10. He is the protector (v. 9)
11. He is the King (v. 10)
