[:en]The Book of Psalms is the hymnbook of the Bible. This last psalm summarizes the importance of praise and worship. “Praise” is used 13 times in this chapter. The Psalmist answers where, why, how, and who should we praise the Lord.
- Where – In His sanctuary, in His mighty heavens. That means anywhere (v. 1)
- Why – For His acts of power and His surpasing greatness (v. 2)
- How – With the sounding of the trumpet, with the harp and lyre, with tambourine and dancing, with the strings and fludte, with the clash of resounding cymbals (v. 3)
- Who – Everything that has breath (v. 6)
