For me, SunCell had been instrumental in two ways. First, it allowed me to reach out to people from my own hometown. Second, it reminded me of how faithful God is.
At first, it was all about social connections. At SunCell, some of my old friendsand most familiar faces from Surigao City were there. As a newbie at that time, it was hard to make friends. So in a way, it was more like a haven.
Then, as I grew to know and establish relationships with the core people in SunCell, it became something deeper. Attending Bible study, singing familiar hymns and joining visitations afforded me a glimpse of how God reaches out to people by using people like me.
