[:en]EYEWITNESSES AND ACCURATE RECORDS OF JESUS

Luke explained how the story of Jesus was “handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewithnesses” (Luke 1:2).  Luke himself also decided to write to Theophilus an orderly account of Jesus so that he may know the certainty of the things he had been taught” (Luke 1:3-4) .  And that was the gospel of Luke.  In Acts, Luke also said of Jesus: “After His suffering, He presented Himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that He was alive” (Acts 1:3)

The story of Jesus stands because it is not based on hearsay or wishful thinking but is being well-documented.  He came to give us peace with God. – (Tim Gustafson)
