[:en]PAYING ATTENTION
In this world, there are lots of people who need care, comfort, help, hope and encouragement. David wrote: “Blessed is he who considers the poor” (Ps. 41:1). Jesus said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35)
As we look around today, we can find someone who has difficulty in making the ends meet. There are many refugees longing for a place to settle down. There are broken homes that needs to be re-united. And lonely old people who are depressed and abandoned. What are we to do?
We can let people know that we care. We can treat them with courtesy and respect. We can pray for them or with them. In other words, we pay attention to them and show our love. – (David Roper)[:]
