[:en]These are wise sayings of Solomon.  He was comparing the Righteous and the Wise versus the Foolish and the Wicked.

THE RIGHTEOUS AND THE WISE:

  1. He brings joy to his father (v. 1)
  2. His righteousness delivers him from death (v. 2)
  3. He does not go hungry (v. 3)
  4. He brings wealth with his diligent hands (v. 4)
  5. He gathers crops in summer (v. 5)
  6. His head is crowned with blessings (v. 6)
  7. His memory will be a blessing (v. 7)
  8. He accepts commands (v. 8)
  9. He walks securely (v. 9)
  10. His mouth is a fountain of life (v. 11)
  11. He covers all wrongs with love (v. 12)
  12. He has discerning lip (v. 13)
  13. He stores up knowledge (v. 14)
  14. He has wealth and riches (v. 15)
  15. His wages bring him life (v. 16)
  16. He heeds discipline (v. 17)
  17. He holds his tongue (v. 19)
  18. His tongue is choice silver (v. 20)
  19. His lip nourishes many (v. 21)
  20. The Lord blesses him with wealth and frees him from trouble (v. 22)
  21. He delights in wisdom (v. 23)
  22. His desire will be granted (v. 24)
  23. He stands firm forever (v. 25)
  24. The Lord adds length to his life (v. 27)
  25. Joy is his prospect (v. 28)
  26. The way of the Lord is his refuge (v. 29)
  27. He will never be uprooted (v. 30)
  28. His mouth brings forth wisdom (v. 31)
  29. His lip knows what is fitting (v. 32)

THE FOOLISH AND THE WICKED

  1. He brings grief to his mother (v. 1)
  2. He has ill-gotten treasure that are of no value (v. 2)
  3. His cravings are thwarted by the Lord (v. 3)
  4. He is poor because his hands are lazy (v. 4)
  5. He sleeps during harvest time (v. 5)
  6. His mouth is overwhelmed with violence (v. 6)
  7. His name will rot (v. 7)
  8. He will come to ruin (v. 8)
  9. He takes the crooked path (v. 9)
  10. Grief shall overcome him (v. 10)
  11. His mouth is overwhelmed with violence  (v. 11)
  12. He stirs up hatred and dissension (v. 12)
  13. He lacks judgment (v. 13, 20)
  14. His mouth invites ruin (v. 14)
  15. Poverty will ruin him (v. 15)
  16. His income brings punishment (v. 16)
  17. He ignores correction and lead others astray (v. 17)
  18. He has lying lip that spreads slander (v. 18)
  19. He speaks many sinful words (v. 19)
  20. His heart is of little value (v. 20)
  21. He dies for lack of judgment (v. 21)
  22. He finds pleasure in evil conduct (v. 23)
  23. What he dreads will overtake him (v. 24)
  24. He will be swept away by storm (v. 25)
  25. His years are cut short (v. 27)
  26. His hopes come to nothing (v. 28)
  27. His evil deeds bring ruin to him (v. 29)
  28. He will not remain in the land (v. 30)
  29. His  perverse tongue will be cut out (vs. 31)
  30. His mouth only knows what is perverse (v. 32)

“Hatred stirs up dissension but love covers over all wrongs” (v. 12)

“When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise” (v. 19)

“The fear of the Lord adds length to life but year of the wicked are cut short” (v. 27)
