Choose instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than gold. For wisdom is more precious than rubies and nothing you desire can compare with her. (vs. 4-14)
What Wisdom can give you:
- Prudence, knowledge and discretion (v. 12)
- Counsel and good judgment (v. 14)
- Riches, honor, wealth and prosperity (v. 18)
- Life and favor from the Lord (v. 35)
Wisdom is the foundation of which all life is built. Love wisdom rather than wealth for wisdom enriches you for eternity. To love wisdom is to love Christ. And when you love Christ, you shall walk in the way of the righteous along the path of justice. God shall bestow you with wealth and bountiful treasures. (vs. 20-21)[:]
