[:en]SOLOMON’S REFLECTION ON MAN’S DESTINY”

The righteous and the wicked, the good and the bad, the clean and the unclean, those offer sacrifices and those who do not, the good man and the sinner, those who take oaths and those who do not – all share thew same destiny.

Death is a fact of life.  As we do not know when is the appointed time, so we have to be prepared for death by receiving God’s gift of eternal life through faith in Christ and obeying God’s word until He calls you. “As fish are caught in a cruel net, or birds are taken in a snare, so men are trapped by evil times that fall unexpectedly upon them. (v. 12)

While living, let us enjoy life with food, with our family and with our works (vs. 7-10).  Life is unpredictable, so we should ask wisdom from God to use each day profitably for His glory.

“The quiet words of the wise are more to be heeded than the shouts of a ruler of fools” (v. 17)

“Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good” (vs. 18)[:]
