When Abraham was 75 years old, God called him to leave his country so the Lord could make him into a new nation. (Gen. 12:1-2) Abraham obeyed, trusting that God would keep His promise. And for the rest of his life until he died at 175 , he lived away from his home country in tents.
God may also have different callings for all of us. Let us follow Abraham’s example to heed God’s call so that we can have a solid foundation for our lives and the hope of entering a better heavenly country. – (Amy Boucher Pye)[:]
