[:en]THE DAY I COULDN’T PRAY

When I learned that I needed an open-heart surgery, many things came into my mind.  Will I be able to survive this operation?  Were there financial matters I needed to attend to settle?   Were there things that I should handover to someone?  My body was so weary and my mind so fatigued that even the simplest of tasks seemed beyond my strength.  I could not even pray because my thoughts would drift to the fear and frustration that I am experiencing.  But I recalled that God made two preparations for people who could not pray:  the prayer of the Spirit (Rom 8:26) and the prayer of others on our behalf (James 5:16; Gal. 6:2)

It is a comfort to know that the Holy Spirit will be praying for me.  What a gift also to hear from friends and family prayed for me.  In time of uncertainty, be reminded that God hears our heart even when we cannot call out to Him.  God always hear the voice of His children. – (Randy Kilgore)[:]
