Jesus was sitting down observing the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury.  He saw may rich people threw in large amount.  But a ppoor widow came and put in two very small copper coins worth only a fraction of a penny.  But Jesus told his disciples that the widow’s gift was greater than the rest though her contribution seemed insignificant to those around her.  ((Mark 12:41-44)
