[:en]Thoughts from Isaiah 21[:]

[:en]A PROPHESY AGAINST BABYLON

Isaiah was distressed when he saw what God was doing in the world.  An invader from the desert came to sweep through the southland like whiirlwind.  His body is racked with pain like a woman in labor because it was very horrible for him to “give birth” to his message (vs. 1-4)

While the prophet was anxiously watching so that he could warn the people, the nation’s leaders were eating, drinking and enjoying feasts by themselves.

A PROPHESY AGAINST EDOM

The watchmen faithfully  watched the forthcoming danger.  They saw both night (trouble)) and morning (blessings)

A PROPHESY AGAINST ARABIA

The prophet advised the Arabians to bring water for the thirsty and food for the fugitives.  Their survivors will be few as all the pomp of Kedar will come to an end.[:]
