[:en]Despite of the threat of Assyria, Hezekiah sought God to deliver them. He did not believe in what the enemies said, but turned to God in prayer. He depended upon the power of strength of the Lord and knew that God will defend their citry. Sennacherib, king of Assyria was killed by his own sons, Adrammelech and Sharezzer with the sword in the temple of his god, Nisroch.
When you are faced with a situation like Hezekiah, these are what you should do:
- Seek the Lord – Talk to Him about your burdens
- Have faith in Him – Trust in God’s perfect plan and time
- Believe in His word – Remember that God is in control of everything
- Glorify God – make “the glory of God” your ultimate goal
- Sumit to Him – Let God work in your behalf. He can handle all your problems
- Give thanks for the victory – Remember to thank Him for what He has done for you.
