[:en]Thoughts from Isaiah 53[:]

[:en]This chapter prophesized about Jesus Christ who sacrificed His life for the sins of the world.  It described the humiliation of His birth and life (vs. 1-3), the agony of His trial, suffering and death (vs. 4-9).  The Savior was oppressed and afflicted like an innocent lamb being slaughtered (v. 7).  He was stricken and cut off from the land of living for the transgressions of the people (v. 8).  The Lord made His life a guilt offering to bring eternal salvation to all.  God’s justice was satisfied so that believing sinners can be saved (vs. 10-11)[:]
