[:en]Thoughts from Isaiah 54[:]

[:en]The prophet Isaiah pictured the future regarding the history of Israel.  The future city of Zion will be glorious.  Barren woman will give birth to many children.  the widows will not suffer shame and disgrace for they will wed again.  God will restore peace.

Theses are what the Lord Redeemer said to them:

“For brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back.  In a surge of anger, I hid my face from you for a moment but with everlasting kindness, I will have compassion on you. (vs. 7-8).  “Though the mountain be shaken and the hills be removed  yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed” (v. 10)

Sometimes God uses chastening or suffering to bless us.  Times of sorrow and reproach are painful but they can lead us for greater joy.  It is painful to go through the furnace but God uses the experience to make us become stronger and better.[:]
