God esteems he who is humble and contrite in spirit (v. 2) Those who trembles at His word and glory in the Lord will see their enemies defeated and put to shame. The kingdom of Israel will be restored with joy and peace. Their restoration will give birth to glory and God will love them. Gentle nations will share the glory of Israel. As God makes the new heaven and the new earth, all mankind will bow down before the Lord and worship Him.[:]
