Our everlasting hope comes from the Lord. He is our helper, our mighty and merciful God. As maker of heaven and earth, he remains faithful forever. He upholds the cause of the oppressed, gives food to the hungry, sets prisoners free, gives sight to the blind, lifts up those who are bowed down, watches over the alien, sustains the father less and the widow and frustrates the ways of the wicked. (vs. 6-9)
Sometimes we will face loss, experience hurt or feel lonely. But our days will overflow with joyful moments because God promises to be our light in the darkness, offering us tangible help and everlasting hope. God secures our hope in His uncahnging character. – by (Xochitl Dixon)[:]
