[:en]TRADITIONS AND CHRISTMAS

Here are some traditions worth remembering:  Germans – “Danke Schon” – a confectionary treat created in Cologne;  Mexico – “Poinsettia” – plant originated from them; French – ‘Merci Beaucoup” – meaning Noel;  English – “Cheers” for your mistletoe.

But as we enjoy our traditions and festivities of the Christmas season, let us save our most sincere and heartfelt “thank you” for our good, merciful and loving God.  From Him came the reason for our Christmas celebration.

As the light of the sparkling Christmas tree surrounded by gifts and presents, let us turn our attention to JESUS, who came to “save us from our sins” (Mat. 1:21).  Jesus Christ is the best indescribable Christmas gift to us.  For He has give us hope fill will joy and peace. – by (Dave Branon)
