[:en]Our Daily Verse (3/4/20)[:]

[:en]SCRIPTURE:  1 PETER 4

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.  Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling” (1 Peter 4:8-9)

“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfuly administering God’s grace in its various forms” (1 Peter 4:10)

“So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good” (1 Peter 4:19)

Since Christ had suffered and done with sin, we, who have been born again through Christ should not allow old life to control us.  We should bury the old and become new creature in Christ.  For one day, we must be ready to give account to God during His judgment day.

The end of all things is near.  What must we do?

  1. Pray
  2. Love each other deeeply
  3. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling
  4. Use our gifts and talents to serve one another
  5. Speak the words of God.

SUFFERING FOR BEING A CHRISTIAN:

Expect trials because it is God’s tool to perfect us.  Rejoice in trials because it is a prelude to the future glory.  Do not be ashamed or feel insulted if your suffering is for the Lord.  Commit yourself to the faithful creator and continue to do good.

LESSON:

Life is too short for us to waste in godless living because one day we will stand before the judgment seat of God.  Instead, we should be serious about the present.  Take time to pray and read His Word.  Show love to saints.  Use our gifts to serve one another for His glory.  When trial comes, ask God to give you the strength to endure.  Be happy if your trials is for the Lord.  Your trials now will be your blessing and glory later.  Surrender your life by living for Jesus and serving others.
