  2. I’m convincing Apollos to go to you if he has the opportunity (v. 12)
  3. Be on guard, stand firm in faith; be men of courage, be strong. (v. 13)
  4. Do everything in love (v. 14)
  5. Submit to everyone who labors in the service of the Lord (v. 16)
  6. Recognize Stephanas, Fortunatus and Achaicus for their generosity. (v. 17)

FINAL GREETINGS (vs. 19-24)

Paul mentioned his beloved Aquila and Priscilla for their assistance.  He never forget to acknowledge his indebtedness to them.  He closed with the greetings: “My love to all of you in Christ Jesus” (v. 24)

SUMMARY:

Paul instructed all believers to be faithful to the church by their offerings to the Lord regularly.  Giving is for everyone -rich and poor – in proportionate to his income.  The church must have a sound financial system with proper records of receipts and disbursement.

Paul encouraged the saints to support, appreciate and treat their Christian workers well.  Pastors must have good relationship with one another.  We must acknowledge those who have assisted us.  All brothers in Christ must be united with love by the grace of God.[:]
