“You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit” (Job 10:12)
QUESTIONS OF JOB TO GOD:
- What are your charges against me? (v. 2)
- Does it please you to oppress me while you smile on the schemes of the wicked? (v. 3)
- Why do you search out my faults when you know I am not guilty? (vs. 6-7)
- Why did you shape and mold me like a clay and now you want to destroy and turn me to dust again? (vs. 8-9)
- Why did you bring new witnesses against me and increase your anger toward me? (v. 17)
- Why did you bring me out of the womb? I wish I had died before any eye saw me” (v. 18)
Despite of the unanswered questions, Job declared: “You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit” (v. 12)[:]
