[:en]SCRIPTURE:  PSALM 32

“Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered” (Psalm 32:1)

“You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance” (Psalm 32:7)

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you” (Psalm 32:8)

“Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!” (Psalm 32:11)

This is a penitential Psalm that recorded David’s experience after he had committed adultery and tried to hide his sins.  When David kept silent about his sins, it affected his body because God let him feel the painful discipline.  When he acknowledged and confessed his sins, God forgave him and relieved him from his guilt.  He was protected from trouble and delivered from his iniquity.

David acted like an animal when he sinned.  He was stubborn when he refused to confess his sins.  That was why God dealt with him like an animal.  The rebellious horse and the stubborn mule have no understanding. They must be controlled by bit and bridle or else they will not come to you.  David went from silence to rejoicing because he finally was honest with God and confessed his sins.

How about you?  Do you choose to be rebellious and stubborn or submit to Him and confess your sins?[:]
