[:en]SCRIPTURE:  PSALM 11

“The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne.  He observes the sons of men; his eyes examine them” (Psalm 11:4)

“On the wicked, he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot.  For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice; upright men will see his face” (Psalm 11:6-7)

David was facing enemies who were bending their bows and setting their arrows to shoot him.  Instead of fleeing like a bird, he took refuge in the Lord.

He knew the Lord is on his heavenly throne watching and examining the righteous and the wicked.  He will punish the wicked by raining fiery coal and burning sulfur.  He will vanish them with a scorching wind.

Do you have days when you feel like flying away and leaving it all by quitting?  Instead of fleeing to somewhere, flee to the throne of God and find grace to help you in times of need.[:]
