[:en]SCRIPTURE:  PSALM 55

“But I call to God, and the Lord saves me.  Evening, morning and noon, I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice” (Psalm 55:16-17)

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall” (Psalm 55:22)

“But you, O God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of corruption; bloodthirsty and deceitful men will not live out half their days.  But as for me, I trust in you. (Psalm 55:23)

David is faced with troubles, threats, terrors and treachery.  He suffered in anguish and was overwhelmed with fear and horror.  Betrayed by his friend, he wanted to have the wings of a dove to fly away and be at rest.  He called on the Lord to confuse the wicked, opposed his enemies and save him.  He trusted the Lord and cast his cares upon HIm.  The Lord finally vindicated him and brought down the wicked, bloodthirsty and deceitful men.

Sometimes friend can hurt us.  Ask God to heal the wounds.  Let God take care of your enemies.  Cast your burdens to the Lord and let his strength sustain you.[:]
