[:en]SCRIPTURE:  PSALM 45

“In your majesty ride forth victoriously in behalf of truth, humility and righteousness; let your right hand display awesome deeds” (Psalm 45:4)

“Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom” (Psalm 45:6)

This is a Messianic Psalm written for a royal wedding.  Christ is the Royal Bridegroom.  The Psalmist described Christ as the conqueror clothe with splendor and majesty, who had fought victoriously in behalf of truth, humility and righteousness.  He had defeated Satan and overcome both the world and the flesh.  The throne of God is eternal and righteous.  He ruled with a scepter of justice in His Kingdom with grace and glory.

The bride is the picture of the Church.  She is clothed with a gown that is interwoven with gold.  The bridegroom and the attendants are ready.  The bride is brought to the King of rejoicing.

The secret of victory in the Christian life is to yield to Christ by trusting and following Him.  Ride along with Him by faith and be a marching victor.  Let Jesus Christ be on the throne of your life to give you comfort and encouragement.

Christian life should be a joyful wedding.  For Christ has clothed us with the gold of His righteousness.  Enjoy His love by cultivating your relationship with Christ.
