[:en]SCRIPTURE:  PSALM 95

“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.  Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.  For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods.” (Psalm 1-3)

“Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker, for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care” (Psalm 95:6-7)

The Lord is a great God.  He is  God of the depths and God of the heights.  Therefore, let us sing joyfully and shout loudly to the Lord.  Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song (v. 2).  Let us bow down and kneel before Him in worship.  For He is our God and we are the people of His pasture under His care (vs. 6-7)

A word of warning is given today.  We are not to hardened our hearts when we hear His voice.  The Psalmist gave an example of how His people hardened their hearts by testing, disobeying and proving God.  As a result, they wandered for 40 years in the wilderness and was unable to enter the Promised land to claim their inheritance.

What are signs of a hardening heart?  Complaining, disobeying, rebelling, going astray and tempting God.  To prevent hard hearts, repent and listen to God’s Word.  Worship Him and keep a tender heart before Him.[:]
