[:en]SCRIPTURE: PSALM 96
“Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples” (Psalm 96:1-3)
“Ascribe to the Lord, O families of nations, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering and come into his courts. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth” (Psalm 96:7-9)
“They will sing before the Lord, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his truth” (Psalm 96:13)
Our Lord is a great God. He is to be feared above all gods. For He made the heavens with splendor and majesty. There is strength and glory in His sanctuary. Therefore, He is worthy to be praised. We must ascribe to the glory due His name.
WAYS TO PRAISE GOD:
- Sing to the Lord – sing a new song, praise His name and proclaim His salvation. Declare His marvelous deeds and glory among people (vs. 1-3)
- Bring offering to the Lord – worship Him in the splendor of His holiness (vs. 8-9)
- Hope in the Lord – He is coming to judge the world in righteousness and in truth (v. 13)
