“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations”
HOW DO WE EXPRESS OUR THANKS TO THE LORD?
- Shout for joy to the Lord (v. 1)
- Worship the Lord with gladness and awe before him with joyful songs (v. 2)
- Submit to him as sheep of his pasture (v. 3)
- Enter his gates by serving him with a willing heart (v. 4a)
- Give thanks with spiritual sacrifices of praise and good works (v. 4b)
Let us worship the Lord with a joyful and thankful heart. Let us sing praises to Him and serve Him faithfully. Let us submit to His will and give spiritual sacrifices to His name.[:]
