[:en]SCRIPTURE: PSALM 105
“Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name, make known among the nations what he has done” (Psalm 105:1)
“Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength, seek his face always” (Psalm 2-4)
“Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles and the judgments he pronounced” (Psalm 105:5)
“He remembers his covenant forever, the word he commanded, for a thousand generations” (Psalm 105:7)
REQUIREMENTS FOR A HEALTHY SPIRITUAL LIFE:
- Give thanks
- Call on Him
- Make known His deeds
- Sing praises to His name
- Glorify Him
- Seek His face
- Remember His miracles
- Trust His promises
The providential care of God for His people was manifested by His miracles, His covenants, and His promises. The Psalmist mentioned the l0 plagues in Egypt – water turned into blood, frogs, gnats, fleas, plague on livestock, boils, hail, locust, darkness, and death of first born. – for them to remember God’s wonderful miracles so that they could keep His precepts and observe His laws.
