“For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies” (Psalm 108:4)
“Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless. With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies” (Psalm 108:12-13)
David said that his heart was steadfast. A steadfast heart sings and gives praises to the Lord. He praised for God’s great love that is higher than heavens and His faithfulness that reaches to to the skies.
When David asked help from God against his enemies, God listened to him and led him to victory. During his battle, God assured him that “All nations are mine and I can do with them as I please” (vs. 8-9) So, with the help from God, he was able to conquer against all his enemies and triumph over them.
Do you have a steadfast heart fixed on the Lord Jesus in faith? A steadfast heart is a heart that is devoted to Him, trusting Him and serving Him with the hope of the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
