“But I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with its mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me” (Psalm 131:2-3)
Weaning is the first step toward maturity and freedom. But most children resist weaning because they want to attach to their mother. But he must be weaned in order to grow up and step out to be a man.
God’s method for us to mature is through weaning. God has to wean us away from the things of the world. He wants us to move out and give us the very best.
Be like a weaned child. Let God wean your soul closer to Him. Step out into a life of maturity by growing and walking with Jesus.[:]
