[:en]SCRIPTURE: ECCLESIASTES 11
“Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap” (Ecclesiastes 11:4)
“As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed ina mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all thing” (Ecclesiastes 11:5)
“Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let not your hands be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well” (Ecclesiastes 11:6)
“Be happy, young man, while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you to judgment. So then, banish anxiety from your heart and cast off the troubles of your body, for youth and vigor are meaningless” (Ecclesiastes 11:9-10)
Do no limit yourself to a single endeavor. Find as many opportunities as you can if you want to be successful (vs. 1-2). Irregardless of what the weather will be, the farmer has to plant and harvest (vs. 3-4). The body formed in a mother’s womb is a mystery. But it does not stop people from having families (v. 5). Work hard by starting early in the morning and do not let your hand be idle. Do you part and trust the result to God (v. 6)
A man can enjoy the years he may live. But let him remember that night is coming and everything will become meaningless (vs. 7-8). Avoid evil and walk a righteous path. For all your deeds and actions will be judged by God (v. 9) Youth and vigor are transient. So remove anxiety from your heart and cast off trouble of your body by walking in the fear of the Lord (v. 10)[:]
